Whoa, my big brother reads gay comics?

"Or could this be Dad's.  What a trip!  I wonder if they know about how I feel.  Randy's my idol.  He can't be gay.  Dad can't be gay, he and Mom made us.  I wonder how I can find out.  I'd like to tell them about me." Seventeen year old Andy thought, staring at the homoerotic comic book he had found in the back of the encyclopedias in the book shelf.  He thought, that wasn't a smart place to put it since he was such an avid reader.  He was the only reader in the house.  Randy, his nineteen year old brother was more into sports than academics.

He started getting an erection, so he put the comic back.  His brother would be home at any minute.  He started trying to think of ways to ask Randy if he was gay.  He didn't have an answer yet when Randy and a friend came in.  Randy introduced him to Kurt, his friend, then they went to Randy's room.

Andy had been chased home by the usual bullies, so he went in and took a shower.  He fought off a boner and rushed back to his room.

He sat on his bed, staring out the window, listening for sounds from his brother's room.  He heard the occasional chuckle or laugh.  Then he thought he heard a grunt and a "Ssssh!"  That only made his imagination go even wilder.  He found himself thinking about all the times he'd seen his brother naked, his muscles, his hairy pits and pubes and the fuzzy trail from his navel down.  He tried to picture Kurt.  He imagined his body to be slimmer than Randy's, but fit and lean.  He pictured Kurt's pits and pubes as being darker with a little reddish tint.

He heard Randy's door open.  He quickly got dressed and went out hoping to see them.  Only Randy was there when he got to the living room.

"Hey Runt, I'm going to the Mall.  Wanna come?" Randy asked.

"Yeah!" Andy said trying not to sound too enthusiastic.  Randy smiled at his little brother.  They were very close.  Their Mom had died just a couple years ago.  They had to take care of each other quite a bit.  Their Dad had a busy schedule, although with his last promotion, he was able to be with his boys a lot more.  Randy however harbored resentment over their Mother's death.  His Dad had been driving when a drunk driver hit them head on.  He thought his Dad should have been able to avoid him.

They took off for the Mall and roamed around just window shopping and pigging out at the food court.  Randy was hoping to see some friends there, but he didn't.  They went outside and sat around just people watching and talking.  Randy pulled out a cigar and lit it up.

"Dad would die if he saw you smoking." Andy told his brother.

"I do a lot of things Dad wouldn't approve of." Randy said gruffly.

"What kind of things?" Andy asked.

"I'm not telling you.  You'd probably blab to Dad." Randy said.

"No I wouldn't.   You know better." Andy snapped back.

"I know, I know." Randy said grabbing a handful of Andy's hair.  "I just don't think Dad would like me much if he knew all the stuff I do."

"Like what you and Kurt do?" Andy asked.

"Huh, what are you talking about?" Randy asked.

"I saw your comic book." Andy said.

"What comic book?  You know I don't read books." Randy said.

"The one behind the encyclopedias." Andy said.

"I wouldn't hide anything from you behind books.  You'd be sure to find it, you bookworm." Randy chuckled.

"Could it be Dad's?" Andy half asked Randy and half asked himself.

"I seen Dad in the book cabinet a few times.  I don't know what he was doing.  What kind of comic is it?"

"I'll have to show you." Andy said.  He didn't want to come right out and tell Randy it was a gay comic.

They headed back home.  "Randy, if I asked you, would you promise to stop smoking?" Andy asked sheepishly.  Randy looked at him and saw genuine concern on his face.  He knew his little brother idolized him and realized he'd have to be a better roll model.  He smiled and snuffed out the cigar on the side of a trash can and threw the rest in.  He threw an arm over his little brother's shoulder and they walked on.

Back at home, they saw their Dad's car in the driveway.  He was in the bathroom showering.  Andy took Randy to the den and showed him the comic.

"Whoa, this isn't mine." Randy exclaimed.  "You know what this means?  Dad's gay."

"He can't be, he made us." Andy naively said.

"He must be bi at least.  No wonder he doesn't date, or if he does, he doesn't bring his men home." Randy said.

"Should we ask him?" Andy asked.

"He'd lie." Randy said.

"He's never lied to us." Andy argued.  "I bet if we asked him he'd tell us."

"What ever, who cares?" Randy said.

"I do.  I love Dad and I don't want him to have to hide his feeling for someone because of us." Andy snapped.  "You gotta stop the crap about blaming him for Mom.  He wasn't the drunk" he began to shout and cry.  The riff between Randy and his father always hurt Andy.  He loved them both and he knew his Dad loved them.

"You're right.  I've had a few close calls driving.  I just keep thinking, if Dad had reacted faster, she'd be alive." Randy admitted.

"How could he know which way to go with a car coming head on so fast?  If he went off the road, they'd get killed.  If he went into the other lane, the drunk might pull back in that lane.  Besides, the cops said he didn't have any time to react.  The guy just pulled over right when they were about to pass each other.  Dad's car spun around and got his by the next car to, on Mom's side.

Randy looked at his brother watery eyes.  "You're so much smarter than I am." he said.  He hugged Andy and made up his mind to make up with his Dad.  But now, there was a new issue.  His Dad was possibly, probably gay.

"Let's go ask him." Randy suggested.  They went to their Dad's room.  He was in his bathroom, shaving.

"Dad, can we talk to you?" Andy asked.  His Dad turned around and saw his boys.  He was somewhat surprised to see Randy to.

"Anytime, Andy.  You know that." Mr. Gardner said.  "Come on in." The guys never were modest around each other.  It was nothing for Mr. Gardner or one of the boys to be naked around the others.  Randy sat on the toilet and Andy sat on the edge of the tub.

"Dad, is this yours?" Randy said holding up the comic.

"Ah.......yeah." Mr. Gardner said.

"Are you gay?" Randy asked bluntly.

Mr. Gardner took a long deep breath.  "I'm bisexual.  I was totally straight when I was with your Mom, but since she's gone, I.....I find I'd rather be with men." He said.  He stared at Randy worrying about his rejection.  His heart beat hard enough he could hear it.

Andy was stunned at his father confession.  Randy was to, but his reaction was something neither his brother or his father could have expected.  He was smiling.  His Dad wondered if it was in acceptance of him or a sarcastic rejection in disgust.  He got his answer.  Randy jumped up and hugged him.

"I'm gay to Dad,  I'm gay." Randy said.  The relief of his confession brought tears to his eyes.  Mr. Gardner was totally shocked as was Andy.  He was not only shocked by Randy's confession, but his show of love.

"You're my stud, my jock.  I never expected you to be gay." Mr. Gardner said.

"You thought I'd be gay?" Andy asked.

"No no, I didn't mean it that way.  I just never expected this.  But are you?" Mr Gardner asked Andy.

"I guess so.  I got awful horny when I was looking at the comic.  And I don't seem to care much about girls." Andy said.

"Boy's I don't know what to say.  I'm so glad we got it out in the open.  God, all three of us." Dad said.  "So are you guys disappointed in me?"

"No Dad.  Are you?" Randy asked.

"I've never been disappointed in you guys.  Your grades could be a little better, but no.  I'm not at all disappointed in you." he told Randy.  "If anything, I'd hoped you'd be straight because it's just an easier life.  But we can handle anything."

He hugged his boys like he'd never hugged them before.  "Um Dad, this is getting awkward.  You're naked." Randy said.

They all laughed.  "Get out of here, I've got a date and I'm late." Dad said shuffling them out the door.

"Who's the date with?  We need to meet him." Randy said.

"Maybe, I don't know if he's ready for you two." Dad said.

"Well, you need to bring him home.  After all we've got to see if he's good enough for you." Randy said.
Andy agreed.

"Okay, I'll have him pick me up.  You can meet him then.  Say, you guys seeing anyone?" Dad asked.

"Randy's got a boyfriend." Andy blurted out.

"Hey, How do you know?" Randy asked.

"I heard you in you room." Andy said.

"You heard us wrestling." Randy said.

"Yeah right.  I hope you play safe." Dad said.

"Seriously, We were just wrestling around on my bed." Randy said.

"Yeah, I've done my share of bed wrestling." Dad said.  Andy had slipped into Randy's room and came back with a cum filled condom.

"Well, it looks like he 'wrestled' safe." Andy said, showing off the loaded condom.

"You little shit." Randy shouted and chased his brother around the house.  Dad laughed.  The boys tussled while Dad called his friend.  Randy got the condom out of Andy's hand and was acting like he was going to put it in Andy's mouth.

A few minutes later, the door bell rang.  The three men looked at each other.  All three thought the same thing.  "Wow, this is the start of a whole new life for all three of us."
